Welcome to Past Punditry, the website of political historian and commentator Nicole Hemmer. Hemmer received her Ph.D. in American History from Columbia University in 2010, under the supervision of Alan Brinkley. Her research focuses on conservative media and politics. She is a visiting assistant professor at the University of Miami and a research associate at the United States Studies Centre at the University of Sydney.
